How to enroll in PHLPreK at the Children's Place Preschools

The city of Philadelphia funds free, quality pre-K at over 180 centers. All children who are 3 or 4 by September 1, 2022 are eligible. There  are no income requirements for participation in this pre-K program.  Click here for more information.

Due to the high level of interest in this program, we offer spots on a first-come-first-serve basis. 

Our three main locations (Thompson, Colgate, and Longshore) all have a few open spots left in our PHL PreK program. Please call the center location you are interested in directly to find out whether spots are still available at the time and to schedule a time to bring the required documentation in and meet with the facility director to find out next steps for registration. 

Once you confirm a time to come in and register, please bring: 

1. Child's birth certificate (we cannot accept copies of birth certificates, we must confirm the physical copy and make one of our own)

2. Proof of residence (electric bill, gas bill, water bill, etc - anything with your address)

3. Photo ID.
